Support of the Royal Ontario Museum


An expert in currency logistics and shareholder value creation, Chris Jamroz is the CEO of St. George Logistics Holdings and the board director at CMS Info Systems. Chris Jamroz, who is an active philanthropist, has also served on the board of directors and is a member of the board of governors for the Royal Ontario Museum.

Founded in 1912, the Royal Ontario Museum is an art and cultural institution located in Toronto, Ontario. The largest museum in Canada, it currently houses over six million items. In June of 2017, Mr. Jamroz and his wife contributed one million dollars to the museum in support of a range of programs and research efforts that include:

- Forty exhibition spaces

- A field research institute that studies topics including biodiversity, palaeontology, the earth sciences, and the visual arts

- Educational programming for families, schools, and teachers

- Professional programs such as internships and co-ops

Chris Jamroz Appointed to the Board of the Royal Ontario Museum


Chris Jamroz serves as the executive chairman of St. George Logistics, which maintains North America’s largest independent container freight station facility network. Active in his community, Chris Jamroz was recently appointed to the Royal Ontario Museum’s Board of Governors.

This invitation came from a well-regarded cultural and natural history museum in Toronto that encompasses 30 galleries of art, natural science, and archaeology. The institution also has a strong research focus and communicates its findings to the public via various forums and media outlets.

Mr. Jamroz communicated a sense of gratitude at having been selected to serve on the Board of Governors. His new position capitalizes on previous volunteer experience on the museum’s Board of Trustees from 2010 to 2016. The current position emphasizes public service that helps ensure the long-term stability and health of the institution. Mr. Jamroz is also a longtime volunteer with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami and New York City.
